I DON'T WANT TO HANG UP MY ROCK & ROLL SHOES

I DON’T WANT TO HANG UP MY ROCK AND ROLL SHOES

My momma told me she don't like that rock and roll
I said please momma please, momma you don't know

I don't wanna hang up my rock and roll shoes
When that beat starts to move me
Well I shake these blues

Get a job, set yourself a goal…they can’t understand
I just wanna rock and roll
Now the kids are all dancing from 8 to 25
It's gotta have a beat that keeps a man alive

I don't wanna hang up my rock and roll shoes
When that beat gets to move me
Momma I shake these blues

I'll do my homework, I'll clean the yard everyday
I'll even make the dishes
I'll do anything you say

Some people say that rock and roll will fade away
I just wanna tell you, rock and roll is here to stay

I don't wanna hang up my rock and roll shoes
When that beat starts to move me
I can shake them blues

Well momma I'll do my homework
I swear I'll clean the yard
I'll shine daddy's Cadillac
I'll do any little thing you want

Some people say that rock and roll will fade away
I don't give a damn, rock and roll is here to stay

I don't wanna hang up my rock and roll shoes
When that beat starts to move me
I get rid of these blues

I don't wanna hang up my rock and roll shoes
I don't wanna hang up my rock and roll shoes
I don't wanna hang up my rock and roll shoes
I don't wanna hang up my rock and roll shoes
When that beat starts to move me
I get rid of these blues

NO QUIERO COLGAR MIS BOTAS DE ROCK AND ROLL

Yo no quiero colgar mis botas de rock and roll
Cuando ese ritmo empieza a excitarme
Olvido mis penas

Consigue un trabajo, ponte un objetivo…no entienden
Sólo quiero rock and roll

Yo no quiero colgar mis botas de rock and roll

Yo no quiero colgar mis botas de rock and roll

Yo no quiero colgar mis botas de rock and roll
Cuando ese ritmo empieza a excitarme
Abandono mis penas

Yo no quiero colgar mis botas de rock and roll
Yo no quiero colgar mis botas de rock and roll
Yo no quiero colgar mis botas de rock and roll
Yo no quiero colgar mis botas de rock and roll
